Fields of folly

I walk the fields of folly
trampling over dreams,
some belonging to others
and some my own,
and memories,fresh and old
yearning for reconciliation
hang from ugly vines
that smother the lonesome trees...
and the clouds start weeping
for the departed...
but I wasn't seeking shelter
or solace,
I was merely crossing
over to the other side...

Well written.
Quite short and simple with a lot of meanings,I like it.
Sometimes i know how hard it is to shrink what you feel to exact words and poetry to be intact and short, but with all the things you wanted to express.
This one is well framed and nicely dealt with poetic issues.:)
Good job dude.
